US election: Russian network spreads fake news reports | BBC Verify

A Russian disinformation network has been impersonating dozens of media organisations, including the BBC, and has shared false news reports online in the run-up to the US election. The operation has also been targeting journalists and fact-checking organisations asking them to check their own fake reports.
