TRENDING RUMORS

- Barcelona are interested in an approach for Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyökeres, reports Sport. The Blaugrana are reported to have already "sounded out" a move for the 26-year-old, and the LaLiga side believe they could use their positive relationship with the Lions to get a €65 million deal over the line. Manager Hansi Flick is said to be keen to add another difference-maker to his squad over the summer, with the Camp Nou hierarchy also keeping tabs on Newcastle United's Alexander Isak as a potential alternative.

- A second attempt from Manchester City to sign Bayer Leverkusen attacking midfielder Florian Wirtz is expected to take place in the summer, reports Bild's Christian Falk. Wirtz, 21, is reported to be on the radar of Citizens manager Pep Guardiola, and despite the Germany international being set to sign a new contract extension, his representatives are believed to have negotiated a release clause that will become active in 2026. Wirtz has remained a key player in the Bundesliga and UEFA Champions League this season, with 15 goals and 10 assists in 29 matches.

- Real Madrid are pushing forward with hopes of beating Arsenal in the race for Real Sociedad midfielder Martín Zubimendi, reports TEAMtalk. Los Blancos are said to be keen to add a "world-class" midfielder this summer, and they have stepped up their pursuit of him as the Gunners try to reach an agreement over personal terms. The 26-year-old's release clause, which Liverpool activated last summer, is still active and allows him to be signed for a fee of £51m.

- Clubs in the Premier League are watching Atalanta striker Mateo Retegui, reports Foot Mercato. Manchester United and Arsenal are believed to have enquired about the 25-year-old, who scored his 20th league goal of the season while netting four in the 5-0 Serie A win over Hellas Verona on Saturday. Retegui remains contracted with La Dea until the summer of 2028, and he is also reportedly on the radar of Paris Saint-Germain.

- Bayern Munich are "relaxed" regarding the future of striker Harry Kane, reports Football Insider. It is believed that the 31-year-old is "happy" at the Allianz Arena, and the Bundesliga club have no plans to consider offers for him in the summer. A £54m release clause is set to become active in Kane's contract next January, and he has recently been linked with Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, and Chelsea, though there is reportedly optimism that he won't be looking to leave Germany's top flight.
