These Amazon clogs rival the popular platform Uggs that are nearly 3x the price

It's hard to argue otherwise — Uggs are one of the top trends when it comes to cozy fashion. But each year, it seems fashion influencers, celebrities and shoppers flock to a new style. Last year, the Ultra Mini Platform Boots took over the streets. This year, however, it's all about the Tazz slippers. The style — which you can actually wear outside as regular shoes — have a small platform, a red braid around the ankle and a plush lining. But there's one problem: They're constantly selling out. Well, that and they're also $130.

Even if you want to get your hands on the trendy winter shoes, it will cost you. But we have some good news: We found a similar slipper style at Amazon so you can still get the look, — better yet, they're less than half the price.

Similar to Uggs', these Inpaksa slippers have a platform, red braid and plush lining. They may one-up the trendy elite brand — these lookalikes also have memory foam insoles to make them extra comfy. The Inpaksa slippers also have a faux suede outer and faux fur interior to keep your feet warm, paired with a thick rubber sole for traction. Oh yeah, and they come in five colors, including brown, black, beige, gray and pink and they're water-resistant.

More than 1,400 Amazon shoppers give them a five-star rating, and reportedly, over 1,000 people have bought them in the last month alone.

"So cozy," said one shopper. "I get compliments on these every day, and they are soooo warm and comfortable!"

"Honestly, don’t waste your money on the name brand. These are so comfortable and feel exactly the same as my friends' pair from the big brand," added another. "I'm usually a size 7 and bought a size 7. The heel slips a bit when I wear them without socks, but I prefer that slightly loose feel for my house shoes."

One customer added that they were surprised about how good the shoes' traction is. "Weird thing to rave about, but we got 20 inches of snow and ice last week and it's here to stay. I wore these bad boys all week for comfort and some extra warmth — no slips, no falls, nothing. I switched to Nike tennis shoes today and immediately fell on my icy/snowy back porch. Traction on these bad boys is unmatched."

Of course, while some shoppers say they're just as good as Uggs, others say they're nice, but you get what you pay for.

"Super comfortable and doesn't hurt at all after wearing for long periods of time," said another shopper who raved about the shoes' warmth. However, they added that the, only downside is the fur inside sheds a lot. "When I take my shoes off I see black furballs everywhere on my floor."

One four-star fan directly compared the two: "I must say, the quality is very good, maybe only the stitches are a bit off but nothing major. As for the color, you can see the difference. They're both nice depending on your preference. ... The only thing that's important to me is I realized I don't want the synthetic material, however, they do look warm."

All in all, the Inpaksa Slippers are a great option if you're looking to wear the style this season and beyond.

That said, there are plenty of other cozy shoe options at Amazon. For a little more money, Project Cloud makes a similar slipper with a real leather exterior.

These platform booties are a popular buy, too. More than 1,000 people have bought them this month, according to Amazon.
