Saquon Barkley's fiancée Anna Congdon is excited to see the Super Bowl through her daughter's eyes: 'This is such a special moment' (exclusive)

Saquon Barkley will play the biggest game of his life on Sunday when the Philadelphia Eagles take on the Kansas City Chiefs at Super Bowl LIX. His fiancée, Anna Congdon, will be trying to keep the vibe as laid-back as possible in New Orleans for their family.

"This has easily been the most exciting season of Saquon's career," Congdon told Yahoo Entertainment.

Congdon, who spoke with Yahoo as part of her WAGS in Wags Jeep campaign, said the family will have the "same game-day routine" on Sunday that's worked so well the rest of the season. No, that doesn’t include partying with Eagles fans on Bourbon Street ahead of the big game. Rather, it involves getting their 2-year-old son, Saquon Jr., ("SJ") down for a nap so he can actually make it to the Superdome to watch his dad play in the Super Bowl.

"Our whole schedule for the day will probably revolve around that," she laughed. "I have my job and my duties as a mom that I need to do, and then [Saquon] has his jobs and his duties that he needs to do [for his team]. I think that we're able to find a good balance and support each other through that process."

Congdon and Barkley, who also share daughter, Jada, 6, met at Penn State University and have been together since 2017. They got engaged several months ago, but it was publicly announced in the press only recently. Congdon said she keeps certain boundaries over what she does and doesn't share on social media.

"In college, I was pretty much posting everything and was comfortable with that. Then, once we had our children, you start to experience things and you're like, 'OK, this doesn't feel right.' People shouldn't know everything about your children and everything about your life," she said. "I truly just try to keep almost as much as possible private because you need it for your peace of mind. To me, it's my one way of just keeping my kids safe and keeping our family safe."

One critique Congdon has to laugh at? "So many people come at me for always wearing my glasses," she said.

WAG — that's short for wives and girlfriends — fashion has exploded on social media as fans want to get a glimpse of their favorite football stars' personal lives. While some have embraced Congdon's fashion sense, she has a message for haters about her eyewear: "I literally can't wear contacts because they don't fit my eyes!"

"I always try to work my outfit around my glasses and the other accessories," she said, adding that her look for the Super Bowl will be no different. "I'm honestly keeping it pretty simple."

Congdon arrived in New Orleans on Friday with her kids and will be riding in style in a Jeep Wagoneer. "We'll have the car seats, the strollers, lots of luggage. ... As a mom, these are the real things that end up exciting me," she said.

The Barkley crew plans to roll "squad deep" on Sunday with their entire family and their closest friends. "Nobody wants to miss it," Congdon said.

One thing Congdon's most excited about is witnessing Super Bowl LIX through her daughter's eyes.

"This is just such a special moment," she said. "[Jada] will actually remember this, and for her to go into school on Tuesday and be able to say that your dad just played in the Super Bowl and is a Super Bowl champion, that just would be the coolest moment ever."
