Premiership Women’s Rugby leaders Gloucester-Hartpury maintained their winning run with a comfortable 43-19 victory at Sale Sharks on Sunday.
Georgie Perris-Redding cancelled out Pip Hendy’s opener before the visitors retook the lead through Kelsey Jones.
Maud Muir, Sarah Beckett and Siobhan McCarthy sealed the bonus point and a 29-7 lead at the break.
Gwen Crabb and Neve Jones added two more, while Eti Haungateau and Hollie Bawden scored consolations for Sharks.
Victory for Gloucester followed Exeter Chiefs’ thrilling 19-19 draw with Harlequins at Sandy Park on Saturday.
The hosts led 14-12 at half-time but a converted Quins try from Heather Cowell and Katie Buchanan’s try for Chiefs meant the game ended level.
The game went nine minutes past the full 80 which included a missed penalty kick by Quins’ Lagi Tuima.
Chiefs remain in third place, while Quins move to fifth.
The London club climbed above Loughborough Lightning in the table on points difference.
The first 40 saw a flurry of tries with Connie Powell opening the scoring but Exeter hit back quickly through DaLeaka Menin.
Claudia MacDonald then scored after Buchanan offloaded following a blistering run down the wing.
Quins’ Babalwa Latsha dotted down from close range just before half-time. The second half saw Cowell and Buchanan over the whitewash but neither team could find a winner.
On Friday, Bristol Bears defeated Loughborough Lightning 33-17 and Ealing Trailfinders recorded their third win of the season, beating Leicester Tigers 29-14.
