The Alfred Dunhill Links Championship will now be a three-day event, finishing on Monday, after heavy rain rendered all three courses unplayable for the second successive day.
No play was possible at the DP World Tour event, held across Kingsbarns, Carnoustie and St Andrews courses, on Saturday and areas of the courses remained waterlogged on Sunday.
It means the third – and now final – round in Angus and Fife has been pushed back to Monday.
England’s Matt Fitzpatrick holds a one-shot lead on 13 under par ahead of Scotland’s Grant Forrest and Nacho Elvira of Spain.
English pair Marcus Armitage and Matthew Southgate are two shots further back.
In the pro-am part of the competition, Fitzpatrick is in second place with mother Susan, a shot behind Julien Guerrier and Stephane Connery.
