Britain’s Adam Peaty was third as Qin Haiyang won the men’s 50m breaststroke at the World Cup meet in Berlin.
The three-time Olympic champion followed that up with third in the 50m race in a time of in 26.98 seconds.
China’s Qin won in 26.29 and Arno Kamminga of the Netherlands was second in 26.97.
Peaty holds the 50m breaststroke world record with a time of 25.95.
Qin completed a historic breaststroke golden treble – winning the 50m, 100m and 200m events – at the World Championships this summer.
