IBF world super-featherweight Joe Cordina wants to “go down in history” as the first boxer to headline a bout at Cardiff City Stadium.

Cordina regained the title he was stripped of because of injury with a split-decision win over Shavkatdzhon Rakhimov at Cardiff International Arena.

Now the 31-year-old Cardiff City fan wants to fight at the home of the Bluebirds in the Welsh capital city.
