Former Wales and Crystal Palace assistant boss Osian Roberts has been named interim manager of Italian side Como until the end of the season.
Welshman Roberts will be assisted by ex-Spain, Arsenal and Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas, who is a part-owner of the Serie B club.
Last month, Fabregas was named interim boss of the club – his first senior management role.
Como are currently third in the Italian second tier.
Roberts, 58, has been out of work since leaving Palace alongside boss Patrick Vieira in March 2023.
He will also work as head of development for Como. The club say he will focus exclusively on that role from the end of the 2023-24 season, when they will appoint a new manager.
Roberts is a former technical director at the Football Association of Wales and with Morocco’s football association.
He was part of the Wales senior staff under Gary Speed, Chris Coleman and Ryan Giggs.
