Boss Rob Baxter has made only two changes following Exeter’s memorable win over Toulon for their Investec Champions Cup game against Munster.
Flanker Lewis Pearson and winger Olly Woodburn both come into the side for Ethan Roots and Immanuel Feyi-Waboso.
Centre Henry Slade kicked an injury-time conversion to claim the dramatic win over Toulon and continues in the midfield with Joe Hawkins.
Fly-half Harvey Skinner, who scored Exeter’s first try, also starts.
The sides met in the Champions Cup last 16 in 2022, which Munster won over two legs despite the Chiefs winning 13-8 at Sandy Park in the first leg.
Munster were held to a 17-17 draw by Champions Cup debutants Bayonne at Thomond Park in their opening game of this season’s campaign.
The Irish province has been hampered by a large number of injuries in recent weeks and make six changes for the trip to Exeter.
Regular starters Shane Daly, Antoine Frisch and Craig Casey all come into the backline, with hooker Diarmuid Barron and prop Stephen Archer coming into the front row.
Experienced flanker Jack O’Donoghue is the other change.
Munster have won the European Cup twice in 2006 and 2008, with Exeter lifting the Champions Cup in 2020.
Northampton, Toulon, Bayonne and Glasgow are the other sides in Pool 3.
