Lancashire Thunder have appointed former England wicketkeeper Chris Read as their head coach on a two-year deal.
The 45-year-old will succeed Paul Shaw in the role from 1 January.
Read, who won 15 Test caps for England, was assistant coach for Trent Rocket Women in The Hundred in 2023.
“I am extremely proud to have taken up this position and I am looking forward to getting to work with such an ambitious club and a talented squad of players,” he told the club website.
